Stakeholder Comments

The Colorado Supreme Court Civil Rules Committee created a subcommittee to review and make proposals for revisions to the Colorado Municipal Court Rules. The Colorado Municipal Judges Association members make up this committee.

Working groups, subcommittee meetings, and stakeholder input gathered working rules and proposals for revisions to the Colorado Municipal Court Rules.

As part of the rulemaking process, stakeholder and public comments were solicited from a number of sources. The subcommittee specifically requested input from Colorado city attorneys (including city prosecutors), the Colorado Criminal Defense Bar, municipal judges, attorneys, law schools and clinics, municipal public defender’s offices, and members of the general public.  There was an online comment period from November 1, 2018 through January 15, 2019.

The following are stakeholder comments submitted as part of this rulemaking:

Stakeholder Comment – Pueblo City Prosecutor 11-30-2018
